Played on Monday with the Newark Senior League. I love the course but the greens had been aerated and definitely cost me a few strokes. Should be better by next week.

Thanks DeShaun. I play in the Middletown Senior League and also frequent DelCastle and Deerfield. Even as a high-handicapper, I've never had a bad day on the golf course, despite the score card, because of the great people I meet wherever I play.

Hey all, my names Rich I don’t really have a home course. I like to bounce around, Garrisons Lake is the closest to me. I just enjoy getting out to play and try to improve.

Played my weekly White Clay round, and a few things stuck out to me.

1. The rough is no joke right now. Thick, sticky, and very penalizing. Fairways are a premium.

2. BRING BUG SPRAY!

3. They just got a new drink shed at the intersection of Hole 2 and 12. A nice upgrade from just the table setup they’ve been running this summer. Excited to see how it turns out.

4. And my question to you is, what’s your favorite hole at White Clay Creek CC?

Mine is Hole 14.

Played St Annes today, hadn't been there in about 5 weeks and found the conditions worse today than they were when I last played. After the rains most bunkers were like a rock, some had funky residue in them. Greens were lightning fast and some of the pin positions were pretty questionable. Rough was way thick in spots and a lot of the tee boxes were in rough shape. This is one of my favorite places to play but today wasn't a good experience.

Greetings all! Coming at you from Townsend. If I had a home course, it would be either Odessa or St Anne’s just because they are closest. I’m just a regular father of 3 (10 and under) trying to get out there as often as I can! Thanks, DeShawn. This is a great thing that you have created.

The larger tree guarding the green on Hole 17 is officially gone!

The smaller tree is still standing but this makes the approach shot significantly easier.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on the right side of the fairway and had that tree block my shot.

I made it out to Back Creek for a couple of holes after work. The storm appeared to be missing the course but I was still asked to leave ☹

Nothing beats watching your ball flight with the backdrop of a dark cloud. If you’re a sicko golfer like me, then you know what I’m talking about.

Oh well, we shall live to golf another day. 🙏🏾

I live down in Sussex County but play all over the Delmarva peninsula. I don't mind driving to play golf. I play, occasionally, Garrisons Lake, St. Anne's and Odessa National. Typically play the Rookery and Southern Delaware.
